Who we are

Bahar Gold is responsible for the personal information submitted through this site. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact orders@bahargold.co.uk.

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email, UK phone, delivery address, design details, optional image, budget and preferred date to prepare your quote and fulfil your order. We record your acknowledgement of this notice. Our basis for quote and order processing is taking steps at your request before a contract and performing that contract; legal obligations cover required accounting records. Security rate limits use IP addresses temporarily under our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.

Sharing and storage

The owner can access your request. Our maker job sheet contains design details and maker notes, with no customer contact details, address or prices. We share delivery information with the carrier when needed and use hosting providers to store the service. No card details are collected. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.

Retention

Proposed policy, to be confirmed by the owner: remove unconfirmed enquiries after 12 months and retain fulfilled order records for up to six years where needed for accounting, warranties and legal obligations. Removal, including uploaded images and backups, is managed by the owner; the website does not automatically delete records.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is relied upon, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some records may need to be retained by law. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and transfers

This site uses only a necessary session cookie for secure forms and owner login; it expires after eight hours. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. Hosting location and any international transfers must be confirmed by the owner before launch.
